What is Josh-Jitsu Mathematics?
Josh-Jitsu Mathematics (JJM) is an online math instructional service. Lessons are conducted over Zoom or In-Person. JJM offers private online tutoring sessions ranging from a Fundamentals math curriculum that focuses on developing essential fundamental math skills to tutoring in traditional math courses ranging from 6th Grade Math to Calculus. JJM also offers Private Math Tutoring for anyone who is preparing for a test such as the SAT, ACT or GED .

Why is it called Josh-Jitsu Mathematics?
The name Josh-Jitsu is a play off of the martial art "Jiu-Jitsu". In Jiu-Jitsu, you start by learning fundamental skills and with time and lots of practice, you learn to combine various moves into sequences of techniques. JJM adopts this mindset to Mathematics. You can approach almost any math situation by using this 3-step process inspired by this amazing martial art:
1. WHAT is the technique I need to use?
2. HOW do I use that technique?
3. WHEN do I use that technique?
